A VICTIM OF A MEDICAL ERROR WHICH EVENTUALLY KILLED HIM, HE SUPPORTED THE PATIENT TEST RESULTS INFORMATION ACT IN THE YEARS PRECEDING HIS DEATH.

CO-FOUNDED KITCHEN MOTORS, A THINK TANK TO ENCOURAGE COLLABORATIONS BETWEEN PUNK, JAZZ, CLASSICAL, METAL AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC ARTISTS. PEARLS BEFORE SWINE STARTED THEIR CAREER INSPIRED BY THE FUGS AND RECORDING FOR A LEGENDARY BUT UNPAYING ESP-Disk LABEL.

THEY HAD GREAT HITS LIKE VENUS (OVER FIVE MILLION COPIES, LATER COVERED BY BANANARAMA), LOVE BUZZ (COVERED BY NIRVANA AS THEIR DEBUT SINGLE FOR SUB POP 1988). SHOCKING BLUE ALSO COVERED ACKA RAGA BY JOE HARRIOTT AND JOHN MAYER FROM THE INDO-JAZZ FUSIONS ALBUM.
