BORN IN LVIV IN 1911, AFTER THE WAR CAME TO KRAKÓW. SHE STUDIED ART HISTORY AT THE JAGIELLONIAN UNIVERSITY AND TAUGHT MUSIC. SOME OF HER STUDENTS WERE OUTSTANDING CONDUCTORS ANTONI WIT, JERZY SALWAROWSKI, COMPOSER KRZYSZTOF MEYER. ON HER 111th BIRTHDAY SHE PLAYED A PIANO CONCERT.
